I love to read, and I’ve always thought that I just didn’t have enough time for it. I recently cut back the TV watching to only one or two nights a week. After making that small change, I have found that I have a lot more time for other things, including reading. I also downloaded the Audible app (Audible Membership), and listen to books while I’m cleaning around the house or on my commute to work. So, I wanted to share some of my favorites that I have been reading lately.
I love this book! It really puts things in perspective when it comes to managing your time, and not making your life too hectic. It’s ok to say no to things and not always try to please everyone. This book helps show you how to make that happen, and how it can benefit your life. Make time for the things that matter most!
This book is so inspiring. Written by a guy who was burned on 100% of his body at the age of nine. He talks about how it changed his life and his way of thinking. It will definitely encourage you to live life to the fullest, and not get upset over things that don’t matter.
We are in the process of saving up for our forever home, so I have been more into budgeting lately. I am currently halfway through this book, and it has been an eye-opener. It has really motivated me and my family to work towards becoming debt free.
This book is one of my favorites. My mother-in-law gave it to me shortly after Tyler and I got married. I have actually read it several times. I use it as part of my daily devotions. I highly recommend this one! There is also The Power of the Praying Husband, so you and your hubs could read them together.
I love Chip and Jo! I love reading stories of how people met and how God brought them to where they are now. If you are a fan of Fixer Upper, this is a must.
