Strength & Dignity: A Proverbs 31 Woman {Intro}

In today’s world, we can easily lose sight of how important it is to be a wife and mother.  The world tells us that we have to look outside the home to be successful, but really our most important work is inside our own homes.  As women, we are tasked with the job of running a household, carrying and having babies, raising our children, preparing meals, etc.  Whether you are a stay at home mom, a work for from home mom, a work outside the home mom, or you’re not a mom yet it is a lot to juggle all of those responsibilities.

Goals for the New Year

With the new year right around the corner, I know most people are thinking about their new year resolutions.  For most, it is the same every year.  This is the year I am finally going to do {fill in the blank}.  For most people, their motivation fizzles out by the time February hits and they fall back into their old habits or forget all about their resolutions.

Southern Farm Wife Facebook Group

Southern Farm Wife (2)

Instead of having a Facebook page for the blog, I created a group.  My hope is that the group will be a Christ centered community where wives and mamas (and future wives and mamas) can come together to better themselves for their families.  I hope it will be a place for encouragement, inspiration, guidance, and acceptance as we all travel on this crazy journey called life.  The link is below.  Can’t wait to connect with you!

I’m Back Y’all!

Hey friends! I know it has been since September that I have done a blog post.  We have just been in one of those busy seasons of life, and I had to create some space in my schedule.  I am kind of sad that I didn’t get a chance to blog much about the fall and Christmas season.  Those are my favorite times of year, and I was so looking forward to writing about them.   After taking a little hiatus from blogging, I am excited to get back into it and I hope to bring y’all some content that is helpful and inspiring.

Home Sweet Home Series Wrap-Up

I so enjoyed doing this Home Sweet Home mini blog series.  As you probably already know, I think it is so important for us to make sure our homes are a place of rest and refuge for our families.  By creating a peaceful, healthy, cozy, and inviting environment in our homes we are serving our families and everyone else that enters the doors of our home.  I think some people dread the holiday season because of the extra work it takes, but it is so worth it to put in the extra time and energy to really make it special for the ones you love.
